This pages reports the trend in solar activity based on my personal sunspot counts that since several years I regularly send to the Solar Section of the American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO). Since Galileo’s times observing and counting sunspots is a simple and useful method to follow solar activity and to contribute to the scientific knowledge on our Sun. Observers interested in this activity may find useful the AAVSO Solar Observing Guide that can be freeley downloaded in many languages from this page.
